It was in her 20’s, she was doing serials when she meet Rajeev. On sets, they fell for each other. They used to go to Sanjeeviah park in a Maruti 800 so that no one could recognize them and used to sit and chat in the car. They didn’t bother to switch on the AC though they were sweating bad, because it would burn up petrol. Suma recollects some bold and sweet memories when Rajeev could spend only 2 rs on a rose to give her. She said, if Rajeev gave her a greeting card, she would give it back to him because she couldn’t hide it at her house. 5. LIMCA BOOK OF RECORDS It was a splendid moment for Suma and her family in 2014 when she received the Limca award for helming her famous ‘STAR MAHILA’ programme uninterruptedly for 6 years.
