A lot is being discussed about the movie Rangasthalam. The film’s realistic approach for an 80's story is garnering rave reviews from all corners - thanks to the top-notch work from every department that worked for this film. Production Design, cinematography, music and every other aspect put together have matched the unparalleled thoughts and screenplay of director Sukumar. A Twitter user Ravitej Sahu expressed his feelings in a series of tweets and after going through them, we would definitely be surprised by the way this film has been dealt by Sukumar. Here's what Ravitej has said:

The hangover is so much that I am unable to get out of the cinematic brilliance of SUKUMAR. People describe this as a raw and rustic, I felt this as poetic and beautiful film. Just wanted to put down few things which made me feel Rangasthalam a poetic one.

The intro shot where dakshinamurthy meets with accident is phenomenal. A sequence of events happen and was shot without a single cut. The order follows 1. Lorry hitting the car 2. The car rolls 3. Dakshina murthy falls out of car 4. Car crosses the cycle. 5 chittibabu runs

Through out the movie, everyone talks louder to chittibabu. Maintaining that consistency is beyond brilliance.

The detailing is so precise that the sound design for point of hearing from charan’s throughout the movie is incredible. I called #Rangasthalam as poetic because most of the scenes didn’t needed any BGM or heavy dialogues. Everything was conveyed through emotions on screen.

1. The reflection of watch while chittibabu hunting the snake. 2.After chasing seshu naidu to a burra katha place, a woman’s confidence and girls' courage was shown without even a single dialogue. 3. The ray of hope was stopped while kumar babu’s toes were tied, not letting any light.

(4). Swirling the moustache with fellow hanuman men after fighting with kasi and gang. Goosebump stuff ! 5. Chittibabu carrying kumar babu to Rangasthalam while the freshly glued election poster falls down. 6. The beam of torch light helps Chittibabu find Kumarbabu.

(7). Calling dakshina murthy from a PCO and listening to the other person by putting hearing machine. 8. A poetic way to describe president as a snake which lives in a den and Chittibabu chases and beats him to death. 9. The dead son's father makes a namaskaram to president to show, they live at his mercy

The intresting part for me is using of 80’s folk themes to elevate the scenes without fancy BGM 1. Jai shriram jai shriram , fight in fair 2. Burra katha, while chasing seshu naidu 3. Devi puja while warning president at his house 4. Narayana , Srimannarayana

The story was woven with brilliant screenplay introducing all the characters followed by conflict and the drama. One of the highest point of elevation is when Chitti babu takes out Phanindra Bhupathi's name. Also, how many times we get to see a movie's interval without fight or loud punch dialogues? Sukumar sir, you deserve every bit of appreciation for the way you've taken care of minute things for Rangasthalam in every aspect. Here's the actual Twitter thread.
