MP Kavitha Gaaru Calls Out All Sisters To Join Her For A Unique Campaign This Rakhi Festival!

A proud Telangana bidda, a tough politician, a loving daughter and a caring sister, TRS MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha has more to her than meets the eye. Kavitha, who is known for women empowerment through her string of programs, has launched a unique safety campaign called 'Sisters4Change' for the upcoming Rakhi Festival.

On the occasion of her brother Kalvakuntka Taraka Ramarao’s birthday, Kavitha on Monday launched this brilliant campaign. In her social media post, the first woman Parliamentarian from Telangana says that everyday, around 400 people die in two-wheeler accidents across the country because they don’t wear helmet. Kavitha says she is anguished to see the rise in number of two-wheeler accidents and has decided to initiate a campaign for the safety of the brothers across India. She is calling out all sisters to join the campaign and is asking them to set a new trend by gifting their brothers a helmet this Rakhi!
Her post received tremendous response. Even ‘brothers’ have come in support of her initiative, saying they will gift their sisters with helmets for this Rakhi festival. This August 7, let’s see how this good initiative will actually go into the public.
Also, a few people are tweeting to her about the bad conditions of roads and asking to come up with an initiative for the development of the same.
