Hyderabad Metro Goes Big... Will Soon Launch Malls And 40 Movie Theatres In All Corners Of The City!

With the date for inaugurating the much awaited metro trains in the city, L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad, announces the opening of first three major commercial complexes in Hyderabad. A whopping amount of Rs. 2,243 crore has been allotted for this project. The logo for branding the commercial space development was already allotted. Going with the name ‘Hyderabad Next’, they are going to be the biggest in the city with a total space of 1.1 million square feet.

These malls are going to be fully loaded with around 40 theatres to screen movies and of course lots of shopping spaces too. They are going to be launched at Punjagutta, Erramanzil and Hi-Tech City. The one at Raidurga is rumoured to be the largest and most equipped one. Another two million to two and a half million real estate space will also be made available for office space and construction at the site is expected to commence shortly.

Metro stations that are going to be inaugurated in the first phase too are going to get these added attractions. In every station 9500 square feet of space is being allotted for shopping complexes. On a whole, all the metro stations will have around 6 lakhs square feet of shopping space. All these buildings will be ‘green’ having their own sewage treatment plants. With the entire rapid planning taking place, Hyderabad Metro is definitely going to be prestigious for the state. Mentioning about this L&TMRH General Manager, Sanjay Kapoor said that Telangana government is the first in the country to have adopted TOD development as an official policy for Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority. He also talked about residential spaces which are planning to be developed in the next five to ten years.
