Not every story has a perfect ending. Not every time does the prince gets to meet his princess. It's not every time that the hero comes out to be a champion!
Sometimes He just says: 'I tried to be a hero but couldn't be one' and draws the curtain.
Not so long ago we were all stuck with the thought: "Will Tendulkar ever reach his 100th century?" "Will DiCaprio ever win an oscar?" and every time we got an answer that made us believe in our heroes more than ever!
When Yuvraj Singh finally came out of battling a deadly disease and when Lance Armstrong proved his mettle at the Tour de France .. every time.
'Heroes Never Quit'
The entire world is experiencing the ripple effect of Messi's retirement. However, a new question has come up, "is it time that we rethink on our definition of heroes?"
Or is it OKAY to lose, Even if he's a hero? Even if he displays the magic number of the great Maradona on the field? Even if he's the 5 time winner of the World Player of the Year? Even if he's the highest scorer in La Liga, Barcelona and Argentina? Even if he lead his team to 3 Copa America and 1 World Cup finals?
Is it his fault to make each and every supporter of Argentina dream for a trophy after more than two decades?
Lastly, is it his fault to retire, leaving the dream as it was? Leaving the place as blank as it used to be.?
Heroes are Never Quitters, They are Humans They break a Thousand hearts and win a Million. And they go back to where they came from.
And new ones come to take their place, one after the other!
