Music is the best thing that happened to mankind. As it progresses, a new genre of music, Acappella is now taking its form , especially in Telugu. Aceppella or ‘A cappella’ music is specifically group or solo singing without instrumental accompaniment. Though we’ve seen few such music videos in the past , the trend is yet to get into our audience. However, singers Anudeep Dev and Lipsika are leaving no stone unturned to give us a fresh feel of yesteryear songs through Acappella. The duo, who had earlier sung “YENNO YENNO” from Malli Malli Idi Raani Roju, are back with another soothing track - this time Ilayaraja’s classic best - Maate Mantramu. The 1981 song from Seethakoka Chilaka, sung by SP Balasumbramaniam and SP Sailaja, is undoubtedly the most loved Ilayaraja’s track for our elders. Besides, it's a song we’ve been listening to since our childhood and developed a bond with it. Well, we came across this brilliant Acappella version and we had to share this gem. The ‘colourful’ song, with 12 hours of shoot, and 80 hours of motion graphic designing, is also a visual treat. Check it out!
