ISRO - Indian Space Research Organisation entered into the new with a bang by launching its 100th satellite. Space agency ISRO this morning successfully sent up a rocket carrying India's 100th satellite along with 30 others, four months after failed launch.The 30 other satellites include two other satellites from India and 28 satellites from six countries -- Canada, Finland, France, Korea, the United Kingdom and the United States. October 22, 2008 PSLV-C11/Chandrayaan-1 Launch PSLV-C11 successfully launches CHANDRAYAAN-1 from Sriharikota (October 22, 2008).
November 27, 2010 HYLAS Launch Successful launch of advanced communication satellite HYLAS (Highly Adaptable Satellite), built by ISRO on a commercial basis in partnership with EADS-Astrium of Europe, by Ariane-5 V198 from Kourou French Guiana.
November 5, 2013 PSLV - C25 / Mars Orbiter Mission Launch (MANGALYAN) PSLV - C25 successfully launches Mars Orbiter Mission Spacecraft from Sriharikota.
December 18, 2014 LVM3-X / CARE Mission Experimental suborbital flight of India's next generation launch vehicle that tested the vehicle for the crucial atmospheric phase of its flight. The payload - CARE module - reentered the atmosphere and was slowed using parachutes before splashdown in Andaman Sea.
July 2015 PSLV - C28 Launch The C28 was the heaviest commercial mission taken up by ISRO with a payload of over 1440kg. The PSLV rocket successfully launched five satellites by Surrey Satellite Technology Limited (SSTL), United Kingdom.
April 2016 Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System During the Kargil war in 1999, the United States denied India, access to their GPS data which led ISRO to develop India’s own GPS navigation system. The IRNSS program included 7 satellites that aggregate into the navigation system, NavIC (Navigation with Indian Constellation). NavIC keeps a tab on the Indian borders but its range exceeds well above 1500km outside. The real -time data by the satellites can track an object by up to 10 meters.

June 2016 PSLV C34 ISRO, in June of last year launched 20 satellites through a single rocket which was a record in itself. The primary satellite was Cartosat-2 along with two satellites from Sathyabama University, Chennai and College of Engineering, Pune. The Cartosat-2 series satellite was intended to map the country’s urban, rural and coastal, land and water spread.
February 15, 2017 PSLV-C37 / Cartosat -2 Series Satellite Launch ISRO successfully launched and placed in orbit, a total of 104 satellites into space. In comparison, only the Russian Space Agency had the record of launching 37 satellites in one go.
January 12, 2018 PSLV-C40/Cartosat-2 Series Satellite Mission Indian space agency Isro launched its 100th satellite along with 30 others in a single mission on Friday from Sriharikota spaceport in Andhra Pradesh.Thirty-one spacecrafts, including weather observation Cartosat-2 series satellite, were launched by PSLV-C40. Out of the 31, 28 satellites are foreign, while three are from India.
