The Department of Biotechnology on Thursday announced the scientific completion of India’s first locally made Human papillomavirus vaccine (HPV) against cervical cancer. What is Cervical cancer?
Cervical cancer is a type of tumor that occurs in the cells of the cervix- the lower part of the uterus (Garbhasayam). It occurs most often in women over age 30. Adhi mellaga vere body parts like lungs, liver, bladder, vagina, lo ki spread ayye chance kuda undi.
