the Nizam’s gifted a lot of things to the Hyderabad and Kacheguda Railway station is one of those valuable gifts. The station turns 100 years now. The structure of the railway station feels like a royal establishment with it’s unique structural design. People who have newly arrived in the city are sure to be delighted by the grandeur of this structure. It was Constructed in 1916 by the Nizam, it was then part of the Nizam State Guaranteed Railway and this Station was the Headquarters of the then Nizam's Guaranteed State Railway.

Kacheguda Railway station is one of the few stations with free Wi-Fi, taken up under the project announced by Google, and it is guaranteed for a return of 5 per cent annually.

Kacheguda Railway Station is one of the most aesthetically built stations not only under South Central Railway but in the whole of India. It was not only famous for its high economy generation but also as an icon for its organic structure. The central tower has a capacity to hold large amounts of water and the minarets are designed in such a way that they draw in cool air.
