Dear F.R.I.E.N.D.S,
Thank you. This is indeed a thank you note and a heartfelt letter from someone who has not just loved the show, but also looked up to it whenever there was a hard time. F.R.I.E.N.D.S cast andharu kalisi oka movie chesthaaru, malli oka kottha season ey start chestharu, okka episode raastharu reunion kosam ani talks aitunnappudu, chala aashatho wait chestunnapudu… reunion ostundi ani cheppadam was the biggest news od all. Our happiness had no limit. Irrespective of what the reunion was going to be on, all the fans were so excited about seeing their favourite people on the screen again.
Chinnapudu, repu picnic ki vellali ani entha excitement undedho, ala ninna reunion episode chudadaniki antha excitement. Asalu 12:32 kosam mottham ready chesi, early ga padukundhaamu ani plans esesamu. Edentho, nidra pattaledu ee excitement ki. Sare le oka episode chuddamu ani play chesi, finale episode chusi emotional aipoyam. And the binge watch continued. I bet no F.R.I.E.N.D.S fan had slept at all the night before out of the excitement.
The reunion was a belief, was a proof that few things never change. Start nunche edipinchesaaru. There entries were emotional. Seeing the stars getting so emotional made us even more emotional. Seeing our favourite people getting old was not easy. Why God why? Let the others grow old. Not them. Watching them discussing on the set, re-visiting the older times, arguing and pulling each other’s leg was so much fun. Joey inka Chandler aa recliner meedha ala relax avvadam, Jennifer prati chinna daaniki edicheyadam (you know Rachel always cries), Pheobe’s loudest laughs, Joey laughing out loud at the silliest jokes, reading the scenes together, exact expressions while reading the scenes…. what an eye feast. They cried, we cried, they hugged, we felt the warmth, they laughed out loud, we laughed even louder throughout the reunion special.
When it hasn’t been your day, your week, your month, or even your year… I’ll be there for you. Episode start chesina one minute ke, you gave us an assurance that you will be there for us, come what may. And you stood by what you said. India ki vaccine laaga, na life lo happiness ki vaccine dorikesi nantha feel aipoyam. After watching the episode, we understood we could survive the rest of the pandemic watching this.
This show was not just any other sit-com for me. Not just any other show. It had a huger impact in so many lives. Na life lo almost prathi stage lo naatho unna okka show. First time engineering lo backlog padi chala helpless feel ainnapudu, F.R.I.E.N.D.S chusa. Backlogs clear ainappudu, season 4 episode 12 chusa. Engineering aipoyi, degree chethiloki ochinappudu ee show chusa. Amma tho godava ainappudu, college lo godava ainappudu, asalu situation ki sambandham lekunda, I leaned on to this show. And you’ve always comforted me.
Dear Phoebe, antha easy ga flirt cheyyadam, selfless ga help cheyadam, being crazily awesome is what you've taught me.
Ross, thank you for teaching us not to give up one something we love. Even if we fail a million times. The hope helped us all.
Life ni eppudu aina restart cheyochu, it is always the right time to stand on our feet is what you stand for, Rachel.
Chandler, asalu commitment mana valla kaadhu nunchi, last episode lo babies ni tiskuravadam.. You've taught us people change, but with a pinch of sarcasm.
And Monica, you taught us so many lessons. You became a mother officially in the last season, but you were a mom since episode 1 of the show. You can give up on love, if you’re not on the same page, girls should go and propose too, fight for what is yours always. Monica you have my heart.
Thank you, for giving us this show.
Thank you for being our comfort zone.
Thank you for telling us how easy life can be, even in the toughest situations.
Thank you for teaching us selfless love.
Thank you for showing us how friends turn into family.
And thank you for opening that purple door again and giving us tons of memories.
Lastly, dear F.R.I.E.N.D.S, we clapped along when the song played, we cried when you cried, we laughed at the same joke for the 100th time, we argued on if Ross and Rachel were on a break, we loved, we cared, and we lived the show just as much as you guys have.
A love letter from,
Me and the billions of friends you have been there for!
