Here’s The List Of Indian Women Entrepreneurs Who Will Be Speaking At GES 2017!

 

Big day is finally here. Hyderabad is all set to for hosting one of the largest ever event “Global Entrepreneur Summit“. With the theme ‘Women First, Prosperity for All’,GES 2017 focuses on Energy & Infrastructure, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Financial Technology & Digital Economy, and Media & Entertainment sectors.It is aimed to encourage investors invest in women entrepreneurs as it fuels economic growth, and also drives innovation to address the critical challenges communities are facing worldwide. Women leaders in entrepreneurship, innovation and investment also hold the key to fostering prosperous and dynamic societies. To address on this many women entrepreneurs across the world are taking part in this summit along with Ivanka Trump. Here is the list of Indian women entrepreneurs who are going to speak at the summit.

1.Anitha Dongre – Chief Creative Officer (House of Anita Dongre Limited)
Anita Dongre has been at the forefront of fashion for over 20 years, having created one of the most successful fashion houses in India. Launched in 1995, the House of Anita Dongre comprises a portfolio of five brands.


2.Anjali Bansal – Founder and Chief Executive Officer (ABS Advisors)
Anjali Bansal is the founder of Athena Growth, a growth stage investment and scaling up platform. She founded and led Spencer Stuart’s India practice as a global partner and co-led their Asia Pacific Board & CEO practice.


3.Anuradha Acharya – CEO (Mapmygenome (India) Ltd)
Ms. Anu Acharya is the CEO of Mapmygenome India Ltd, a Genomics company whose vision is to touch 100 million lives. In 2013, she introduced the concept of improved healthcare through personal genomics in India. Under her able leadership, the company has won several awards and honors.


4.Ashu Suyash – Managing Director & CEO (CRISIL Limited)
Ashu Suyash is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of CRISIL, an agile and innovative global analytics company driven by its mission of making markets function better. Prior to joining CRISIL in June 2015, she served as the Chief Executive Officer of L&T Investment Management Limited and L&T Capital Markets Limited.


5.Chanda kochhar – Managing Director & CEO (ICICI Bank Limited)
Ms. Chanda Kochhar is the MD & CEO of ICICI Bank Limited, India’s largest bank private sector bank by consolidated assets. She was conferred with the Padma Bhushan, one of India’s highest civilian honours, in 2011.


6.Deepanwita Chattopadhyay- Chairman and Chief Executive Office (IKP Knowledge Park)
Deepanwita Chattopadhyay, Chairman & CEO of IKP Knowledge Park, is responsible for developing the first Life Science Research Park in India and establishing a sustainable innovation cluster around a science park. She pioneered a Hardware Product Incubator and Makerspace to fuel the maker movement in India and works with global and Indian partners to nurture and fund over 200 innovators and early startups.


7.Dipali Goenka – CEO And Joint MD (WELSPUN INDIA LTD.)
Dipali Goenka is the CEO & Joint Managing Director of Welspun India Limited (WIL). Under her astute leadership, Welspun India Ltd. has become the largest exporter of home fashion products and one of the largest integrated manufacturers in Asia. Welspun supplies to 17 of the top 30 global retailers in the world including Walmart, Costco, John Lewis, Tesco, Macy’s and so on.


8.Geetanjali – Chairperson (Kirloskar Systems Ltd)
Geetanjali Kirloskar has been a reputed well known Industrialist in her own right. She has been a successful Advertising professional for over 15 years. She built up and ran the Kirloskar owned Advertising Agency from 1984 – 2007.


9.Megha Mittal – Chairwoman & Managing Director- (Escada)
Megha Mittal is the owner and Chairman of ESCADA. She is an active investor in the luxury fashion sector also having invested in emerging brands Peter Pilotto and Maiyet. Megha has formerly worked at Goldman Sachs in the Pan-European Technology Sector.


10.Natasha Poonawalla – Executive Director (Serum Institute of India)
Ms Natasha Adar Poonawalla is Executive Director of Serum Institute of India, one of the largest vaccine manufacturing company in the world by number of doses produced and sold globaly and Chairperson of The Villoo Poonawalla Charitable Foundation She an Indian philanthropist and known fashion enthusiast.


11.Priyanka Bakaya – CEO & Founder (Renewlogy)
Priyanka Bakaya is a global environmental leader. Bakaya has been selected as a World Economic Forum Global Shaper, a Lightspeed Venture Fellow and a Laureate for the Cartier Women’s Global Initiative. She has been named to the Fortune 40 under 40 Ones to Watch List, and Forbes 30 under 30 List in Energy. Bakaya is the Founder & CEO at Renewlogy, a firm dedicated to renewing all types of waste.


12.Priyanka Chopra – Chief Operating Officer (Centre for Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship (CIIE))
Priyanka is the Chief Operating Officer at the Centre for Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship (CIIE), India’s top entrepreneurship centre and seed investor at IIM Ahmedabad.


13.Radha kapoor Khanna – Founder and Executive Director(DICE Ecosystem)
Design Thinker, Innovation Evangelist, Creative Entrepreneur and Founder of The Three Sisters: Institutional Office (“TTS:IO”). 14.Radhika agarwal – Co-Founder & Chief Business Officer (ShopClues.com)

15.Rama kalyani – Distinguished Engineer (IBM)
Rama Akkiraju is a Distinguished Engineer, and Master Inventor at IBM. Rama is presently leading the mission of enabling natural, personalized and compassionate conversations between computers and humans via user modelling.


16.Rajashree – Chief Operating Officer (Cognizant Foundation)
Rajashree Natarajan is an IT industry veteran with over 26 years of global experience. She is currently the chief operating officer of Cognizant Foundation. She has played diverse roles such as a Technology leader, Process, Knowledge Management Champion, Operations and CSR leader.


17.Rema Subramanian – Managing Partner and Founder (Ankur Capital)
Rema Subramanian is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Ankur Capital – a New Age India fund investing in companies that are solving important problems for India, supporting the growth and development of the country and improving the quality of lives across income segments.


18.Ritu verma – Co-founder and Managing Partner (Ankur Capital)
