In 2018, there were so many great Telugu films, but Mahanti sure took Tollywood’s respect to next level. And here’s the list of all the upcoming biopics in Tollywood.

1. NTR – Kathanayakudu, Prajanayakudu

The 2-part NTR biopic directed by Krish Jagarlamudi is definitely one of the most anticipated films of 2019 for obvious reasons. We’re expecting a lot of surprises in the movie.

2. Yatra

Starring the legendary Mammootty as YSR garu, releasing this year-end, Yatra will be the first of all the movies in the list to release.

The story of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, portrayed by Megastar Chiranjeevi garu, starring along side a bunch of super interesting cast, Sudeep Kicha, Amitabh Bachan and Vijay Sethupathi will definitely be a must watch.

4. Lakshmi’s NTR

This is something new, We’ll be seeing not just Krish – Balayya’s version of NTR, there is RGV’s version too. But only god knows if it gets released or not.

5. Mallesam

Based on the real life story of, Chintakindi Mallesam, A Pochampally weaver’s son who invented a machine to make life easier for his mother and won a Padma Shri. Actor Priyadarshi Pullikonda will be playing the role of Mallesam.

6. PV Sindhu Biopic

Sonu Sood has taken the responsibility of making PV Sindhu’s biopic. The hunt for the right story and filmmaker has been on for almost an year now, According to the reports, Deepika Padukone will playing the role of Sindhu. But nothing has been confirmed by the makers yet.

7. KCR Biopic – Gulal

Recently, the team has unveiled a motion poster of their upcoming film. The details of who will be playing the role of KCR are still unknown. But according to reports, Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be playing KCR.

8. Pullela Gopichand Biopic

Although we’ve been hearing about this one since a long time, no new details have been out yet, except for Sudheer Babu will be playing Pullela Gopichand and the film is directed by Praveen Sattaru. We hope to know more details about this film.

9. Ghantasala Biopic

As the teaser below says, we’ve seen so many biopics till now. Now its time to witness the biopic of a legendary singer Ghantasala garu, played by Krishna Chaitanya.

10. Chandrodayam

We were prepared for NTR biopic, Chandrodayam came out of syllabus. Biopic of Chandra Babu Naidu garu. Vinod Nuvvala will be seen as CBN.

11. Kodi Rama Murthy Biopic

A lot of people don’t know about him, Kodi Rama Murthy was an Indian bodybuilder who earned enormous respect for India in the field of wrestling back in the days. Rana Daggubati will be playing the role.
