Andhra Pradesh Govt To Renew Tourist Spots In The State And Revive Many Forts & Travel Destinations!


Planning on promoting state’s tourism, Andhra Pradesh government has decided to build a one of its kind race car resort spreading across 245 acres with a huge 149 crore budget. This project is supposedly to be built in Kondapalli near Ananthapur. It will have a race track of 3.2 km. This is mainly targeted at the visitors from Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad.

This three star resort will also be equipped with a helipad, golf course and a sports complex. A water sports complex is also being designed that will be promoting water sports like jet skiing, water skiing, wind surfing, sailing, kayaking and scuba diving. This is designed under the Water Sports Policy as part of their plans to promote AP tourism. This is a considered a prestigious project as suggestions were taken from pioneers in water sports from all over the world to explore its potential to the maximum.

There will also be a theatre for musical lasers show atBhavani Island which has the housing capacity of 250 people. This project will be completed in 20 days with a budget of 16 crores. As part of reviving our historical heritage, forts of this part of the state are also being remodelled. These forts include the Kangundi fort in Chittoor, Kondaveedu Fort and Bellamkonda Fort in Guntur and Kundurpi Fort in Anantapur. There is also a plan to protect the Havelock bridge which connects East and West Godavari. This can be used as a host for cycling, fishing and recreational activities. If all these changes are brought into execution, Andhra Pradesh tourism will reach new heights.
