AP Tourism Will Now Provide Homestays Along With Stayzilla & Rightstay To Promote Rural Tourism!

Andhra Pradesh is poised to witness an upswing in tourist arrivals, both domestic and international due to the establishment of excellent tourism infrastructure and sustained promotional activities. The tourist arrivals are expected to increase demand for suitable accommodation & facilities to cater to the tourists’ requirements.
As a part of promoting rural tourism and home-stays for tourists, Andhra Pradesh tourism has signed an agreement with Rightstay (MakeMyTrip), Stayzilla. With this association, Rightstay and Stayzilla will become the first two aggregators to associate with government tourism department in south India. Rightstay and Stayzilla teams will also be involved in imparting hospitality and skill training to all the new Homestays under the AP Tourism scheme.
Under this Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Rightstay and Stayzilla will lend its expertise to AP Tourism to conduct verification procedures and jointly boost home stays and stay experiences within Andhra Pradesh. This partnership will also enable verification and training of these new Homestays being developed right from the start.
For this purpose, the Department of Tourism is identifying “Home Stays” to bring Tourists and Hosts families together. This will provide reasonable accommodation for the Tourists and will also be a source of disseminating our cultural heritage to guests. Under the scheme, people will have to register with Department of Tourism and submit a list of your accommodation facility and preference
