In a first of its kind of initiative, the Govt. of AP and its legislative assembly are going to conduct a national level parliament session in the capital city “Amaravathi”. Starting from today, Feb 10th to Sunday the 12th this 3 day event focuses on empowering women and to provide a platform to express their views.

It primarily aims to focus on issues like education, women safety, empowerment etc,. The NWP is a non-political platform which is expected to have over 10,000 delegates and 600 odd participants from across the country. It also plans on providing live streaming of the event to more than 300 colleges.

With Mr Nara Chandra Babu Naidu as Cheif patron and Mr Kodela Shiva Prasad as chairman, the event is going to be a politically neutral platform for women across diverse fields. Breaking all sorts of barriers this event is expected to bridge the gap between public and private partnership summits and encourage more such programs.

Also, in times when a woman is being viewed as merely an object and her safety comes under question time again, this move comes as an answer to all of those questions and proves why Telugu states are comparatively better in women safety.

We hope the A.P. GOVT comes up with more such awesome events and provides a platform for all those who need one.
