Meet The Innovative Hyderabadi Designers Who Are Now Talk Of The Country!

In the recent times, Hyderabad based graphic designers have been in the news for their innovative and creative designs. The awards and the extensive coverage by the national media shows how Hyderabad has become a major platform in nurturing the deign talent. A 27 year old “Chakradhar Aalla” student of the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad recently participated in a logo design competition for “National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited” held by the central government on their website MYGov.in. The contest was held between April 19th and May 18th. The contest received an overwhelming response from all corners of the country and he received Rs 1 lakh cash prize for his innovative logo design.

Out of nearly 100 entries, his logo consisting Cheetah and rail map was selected. The Cheetah represents speed, while the red and blue lines symbolize calm and reliability. The Cheetah design in the logo indicates the high speed of the bullet train. The connected dots with the train at the top of the logo represent the services of the NHSRCL. Blue, red and grey colours used in it describe safety, speed and comfort respectively.

And another city-based designer “Pradeep Gangireddy” has also recently won “Best Logo Design Award” at the “Kyoorious Design Awards 2017” event held in Goa from October 12th – 14th. This National level event hosted designers from all around the country and presented the awards in various categories.

The Logo Breakdown:

Working for an Advertising Agency “First Show Tekzenit” Pradeep received the “Blue Elephant Award”. He has also designed the logo for several other prominent startups in Hyderabad including the logo of “We are Hyderabad” website.
