“Never ending lines and complicated processes”… if we ever had to get a certificate renewed or pay our pending bills and challans this is the common scenario that we face. We even have to take a leave of absence from colleges/offices just to get our work done. Though there are several apps like “Paytm, Mobikiwik” and others that help us get through the trouble of paying bills you still have to wait in line to avail any government services.

But, this is all set to change and thanks to P.M.’s “Digital Mantra” and our state government’s efforts, we can now avail the majority of government services right from our mobiles. The concept of “e-governance” is pushing our country towards digitalization.

So, here’s a list of mobile apps offered by “Telangana Government” that will help you in your day to day activities.

TSSPDCL:
The “Electricity Departments” app helps users avail services like “paying bills, lodge complaint, news & announcements, new service registration” and etc features.

T- Wallet:
This is an official digital wallet, launched by the state government of Telangana, which can be used to make payments for both government and private services.

Hawk Eye:
With features like SOS button, suggestions for improving policing, registrationn of servants/workers/tenant with police and etc this is also one of the must have apps for every hyderabadi.

My GHMC:
Hyderabadis can now avail “GHMC” services through, their mobile app.

Swacch Dhooth:

TSRTC:
The official bus booking app from TSRTC that will help users find the right bus number and book tickets right from their mobile.

T-Savaari:
This is the official mobile app of “Hyderabad Metro Rail” that will provide the schedule of trains in particular station.

Hyderabad Traffic Live:
This is a must have app for every Hyderabadi as this app provides minute to minute updates of the traffic situation on our roads. Users can get updates easily through push notifications.

Meeseva App:
This utilites app by government helps us avail all the services of “Meeseva” digitally from our smart phones.

RTA M Wallet:
This is an e-wallet that will help users store all the documents issued by the transport department of Telangana.

Telangana Traffic Police:

Telangana E challan:
This is a special app designed by the traffic police department specifically for users to pay their pending challans.

T-Sat:
You can watch all the promotional videos of the government along with other videos issued in the public interest.

These mobile apps not only help people in their day to day activities but also help us in getting the latest information, updates and notifications. These apps do come with their fair share of glitches, but they surely are quite useful to us.
