Telugu cinema is seeing a signifcant change. There have already been a few gamechanging films in 2017 like, Arjun Reddy, Fidaa, Baahubali, The Ghazi Attack. And the first of 2018 has also been a good start start with films like Mahanati, Rangsthalam and a lot more. Here’s a list of intersting movies that have the potential to change the way we look at Telugu cinema.

1. Saaho

Of course, the list starts with Saaho. Definitely the most awaited film in recent times. We all want to see what Prabhas has been up to after the magnum opus Baahubali. And we are sure that this long-long wait is gonna worth it.

2. Manu

One of the biggest crowd-funded Telugu cinema we’ve ever known. Artistic cinema is made out of pure passion. And this film is crowd funded ‘by the people’. And we all very well know the mind behind the film ‘Phaneendra Narisetti‘. We hope to know the release date ASAP.

3. Manikarnika

Telugu people know what a sheer talent Krish Jagarlamudi is. Now its time for the whole nation to know. This Bi-lingual (Telugu and Hindi) biopic based on Rani Jhansi Laxmibai stars Kangana Ranaut as lead. We can’t wait to watch it on the big screen.

4. Goodachari

When was the last time, you remember watching a legit ‘Spy’ thriller in Tollywood? Exactly. After Kshanam, The man Adivi Sesh himself has written the story again. From what we can see in the trailer, the movie looks like a kick-ass, cool thriller we’ve all been waiting to watch in Telugu.

5. C/o Kancherapalem

Many of you might’ve not even heard of this film but, it has already won many hearts at various film festivals across the globe. Just watchout for this one, and thank us later.

6. RRR (Untitled)

We know absolutely nothing about the film. Except for the fact that, it stars NTR and Ram Charan, and is directed by SS Rajamouli. And isn’t it a enough reason to be excited AF!!

7. NTR Biopic

Although it’s been in talks that a biopic is being planned on Senior NTR’s life. What’s interesting is that Balayya babu playing the NTR’s role. Definitely looking forward to this one.

8. Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy

An unbelievable star cast ensemble. Set in a period backdrop. Stars Megestar Chirajneevi. I guess, we don’t need more reasons to be mad excited about this one.

9. Varun Tej – Sankalp Reddy ‘SPACE FILM’ (Untitled)

After the terrific sensation ‘The Ghazi Attack’, Director Sankalp Reddy is aiming bigger this time. Finally we will be having our first ever Sci-Fi film based in outer ‘Space‘. Yes, you read that right.
