This Vinayaka Chavithi, Andhra Pradesh took it upon itself to set up a Ganesh Idol that is unique and stands as the pride of Andhra Pradesh. The tallest-ever statue of Lord Ganesh in Vijayawada, now part of the capital region, is made of clay by Dundee Ganesha Seva Samiti and is set up in the campus of Ghantasala Government College of Music and Dance.
The 63-foot-tall Natya Ganesha idol, which is apparently 4 feet taller than the Khairatabad Ganesh in Hyderabad, will carry a 6,300-kg ‘Laddu’ being made at Tapeswaram.
Now this one indeed is the best view of the idol yet!
