Sharath Chandra Arroju, a common man until 2016, is now a proud IPS officer – and his journey is nothing short of an inspirational story. Born to Dr.R. Madhavi and Dr. A. Krishna Murthy, Sharath Arroju completed MBBS in 2013. However, he chose to take up Civil Services unlike his friends who went ahead with their dreams of becoming doctors.
He says that he decided to enter into the services after he realised that a patient’s social neglect can affect him more than medical neglect. Sharath gave his first attempt from Delhi and only managed to clear prelims. His second attempt was from Hyderabad and this time he cleared mains too and missed the final list by 13 marks. The third attempt was from Bangalore and bang on .. he made it to the interview and cracked it (2016) – landing himself the coveted post of an Indian Police Officer.
While working as a House Surgeon, Sharath found that the health sector lacks proper efficiency. Determined to bring a change, he now says he wants to bring quality in the health sector through his experience. For those dreaming big, Sharath shared his insights of how he studied and the people who inspired him. He says that there are quite a few people who helped him get there. He thanked his parents, near and dear ones – Samatha, Sangamitra, Santhosh, Bharath, Arun, Vijay, Abhilasha and also actor Pawan Kalyan.
Sharath says that he used to study for at least 10 hours a day and would watch Pawan Kalyan’s movies in between for relaxation. Calling himself a proud Pawan Kalyan fan, Sharath even took to Twitter to thank the actor-politician for being a source of inspiration.
Sharath Arroju joined Twitter in 2017 but has tweeted only twice. One – A retweet of ICC’s tweet congratulating cricketer Ravindra Jadeja for being listed as ICC’s World no.1 Bowler and the second one is a direct tweet – thanking Pawan Kalyan for being a source of inspiration. As fans kept congratulating Sharath, he thanked them for their overwhelming support and went on to reply saying that he’s “a die hard fan of PSPK and he’s proud of it”.
This is not the first time that someone has achieved big thanks to Pawan Kalyan’s inspiration. Prithvi Teja, our own Telugu student, who topped the IIT JEE exam in 2011, had said that he loves Pawan Kalyan, his films and admires the actor by taking inspiration. Pawan Kalyan, who holds a strong position in young hearts, is serving as a big inspiration for students dreaming big. This sends out a strong message that Pawanism is not about fighting over the internet for your hero, rather taking the inspiration and putting all your efforts in the right way! Congratulations Sharath Arroju for your hard work that gave you the success you deserve. You have now become an inspiration to many youngsters.
