Hyderabad Gets Its Own Graphic Novel!

All you comic fans out there, have you ever wondered how it’d feel to have our very own Alan Moore or Neil Gaiman? Jai Undurti is a comic writer who conceives of trippy superhero characters and universes filled with dream-like imagery. ‘Hyderabad Graphic Novel Project‘ is his brainchild which he started with illustrators Harsho Mohan Chattoraj and Neeraj Menon. The illustrators have been recently nominated for the Comic Con India Awards for their work on the novel.

The novel is a detailed black-and-white piece of art; Undurti’s impressively researched, imaginative tale that ranges far across time, space and myth – featuring the mythic city of Aryan Vaejo, Egyptian Catacombs, Stonehenge, the Ice-Ages and Bal Gangadhar Tilak.
